The new Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Mongolia has started its activities
On 14 June in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs handed over an Exequatur (the host country's permission for the head of a consular office or another official to start his duties) to the new Honorary Consul of the Republic of Lithuania in Mongolia Mr Sainbayar Davaabat. The procedure of appointing an Honorary Consul of our country in this Asian country was completed and Lithuania has its representative in Mongolia again.

Newly appointed Honorary Consul Sainbayar Davaabat is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of SAYAN Holdings with a diverse portfolio of businesses in real estate, media, transportation, and ICT. In addition to his successful career in the private sector, he has served as an Advisor to the President of Mongolia and a Member of the Economic Council under the Prime Minister's Office.
