Areas of activities and duties of the Vice-Minister Egidijus Meilūnas
- oversees the shaping of security policy and its implementation, as well as the expansion of trans-Atlantic, bilateral and multilateral cooperation with foreign countries and regions
- is responsible for the issues concerning the economic diplomacy, export and investment promotion, membership in international economic organisations, and economic security
- supervises the expansion of relations with countries in Asia and Oceania
- coordinates the implementation of the Lithuanian and Global Lithuanian Strategy
- supervises the activities of honorary consuls
- performs other duties as assigned by the Foreign Minister
